Corrosion resistant

Even more resistant to corrosion

VF562 (ASTM F562 / UNS R30035 / AMS 5844)

F562 is an austenitic Ni-Co-Cr-Mo alloy with ultra high mechanical strength (above 1200 MPa) associated with very high corrosion resistance, mainly to chlorides.

VRC20Nb3 (Alloy 20 / Alloy 20Cb3 / UNS N08020)

Alloy stabilized with niobium to prevent sensitization and intergranular corrosion. The alloy has good resistance to general corrosion, with remarkable performance in solutions containing sulfuric acid. It is mainly used for tanks, heat exchangers, pumps and valves in chemical processes.

VRC276 (Alloy C276 / ASTM B574 / UNS N10276)

Excellent resistance to ferric and cupric chloride, mineral acids, chlorinated environments, formic and acetic acids, sea water and brine. Resistant to oxidation at temperatures up to 1040°C. It is widely used in chemical, petrochemical and oil industries.

VRC400 (Monel 400 / ASTM B164 / UNS N04400)

Resistant to corrosion by seawater and swamps under high-speed conditions and various acids, such as sulfuric, hydrochloric and hydrofluoric. Used in pump parts and valves, propeller shafts, descaling, pickling and etching equipment, and chemical processes.

VRC622 (Alloy C22 / Alloy 622 / UNS N06022)

The VRC622 alloy has outstanding corrosion resistance, exceeding the VRC276 alloy with regard to generalized corrosion and pitting corrosion in a wide range of corrosive environments.

VRC625 (Alloy 625 / UNS N06625)

Corrosion-resistant alloy that can be used in several harsh environments. The alloy is virtually immune to chloride-induced stress corrosion and, for this reason, it is used for components exposed to sea water. Widely used by the chemical and petrochemical industry, including cryogenic applications.

VRC625QA (ASTM B446 / UNS N06625)

Resistant to corrosion in several aggressive environments. It is practically immune to chloride stress corrosion and, due to this, it is an alloy used in components that are exposed to the seawater. Used in the manufacturing of injection nozzles for aircraft and helicopter turbines.

VRC725 (Alloy 725 / UNS N07725)

This is an alloy of high resistance to corrosion and high mechanical strength. The corrosion resistance is similar to that of the 625 alloy, but its mechanical strength is twice as much. This strength is developed by the precipitation of the γ” phase obtained by solubilization and aging heat treatment.

VRC825 (Alloy 825 / UNS NO8825)

Excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion due to the addition of chromium, molybdenum, copper and titanium alloy elements. Resistant to corrosion of many substances, including sulfuric acid containing chloride, and sea water.

VRC925 (Alloy 925 / ASTM B637 & B805 / UNS N09925)

This is an alloy of high resistance to corrosion and high mechanical strength. The resistance is developed by the precipitation of the γ’ phase through solubilization and aging heat treatment, so as to maintain ductility and toughness at high levels. It is mainly used in components and parts for the production of natural gas and oil.
