Villares Metals produces through the VIM (Vacuum Induction Melting), short bars (short ingotes) which are used called Barsticks. With application to automotive industry, aerospace and surgical implant.

They have the following dimensions: in diameter 87 to 93 mm and in height until 370mm.

Villares is able to provide them in Ni or Co based alloy as well as special steel grades and with several surface conditions such as roughcast, shot-blasted, grind and machined. This product is aimed for precision casting or lost wax casting when you want to get components with high dimensional requirements and surface qualities.
