N4462 (DUPLEX 4462 / F51 + F60 / UNS S31803 + UNS S32205)
Super duplex/duplex stainless steel
The mechanical strength and corrosion resistance of the Duplex (austenitic-ferritic) stainless steel is higher than that of austenitic steels and N4462MOD. Duplex steel is used mainly in petrochemical industries. It satisfies a minimum PREN value of 35 and complies with NORSOK M650 and M630 MDS D57 for gauges up to 152.40 mm.
